Disruptor Rifle

Generic name for any weapon that disrupts molecular bindings to cause damage far greater than that of any traditional blaster or other such weapon. Some examples include:

The Tenloss disruptor sniper rifle used by Kyle Katarn in his various adventures;
The disruptor rifle of unknown make and model occasionally wielded by the smuggler Dash Rendar;
The small, highly unstable disruptor rifle used by Renaissance man Rekkon on the Corporate Sector Authority planet of Orron III.
