Ewok
Even though the word ewok was never mentioned in Return of the Jedi, every Star Wars fan knew that the cute, cuddly, almost teddy bear-like animals that helped infiltrate the shield generator on Endor were called ewoks.
These short, furry, two-legged creatures are native to Endor's forest moon. Ewoks are completely free from technology as they live their tribal lives. They use bow and arrows, slingshots, and catapults as their weapons against enemies and for hunting. How did these little creatures help defeat the Imperial garrison? They are hard-working, know how to work as a team, and have an uncomparable knowledge of their environment.
The Ewok language is considered fluid and easy to learn by foreigners. Maybe that is because they have no written version. The language is passed down and altered by generations. They make their homes in the conifer trees(or as they call them, life trees). Most are hunters or gatherers.
The Ewok's religion is unique. They believe that the life trees contain spirits of the dead. When a baby ewok is born, a new tree is planted. That tree is cared for and linked to by the ewok it represents. When the ewok dies, its spirit is said to live in the tree. The tribe's shamen can hear these spirits in times of distress.
Ewoks are generally nosy, and get into trouble because of that trait. The also love to party. They enjoy playing music, telling stories, dancing, etc.
