Geonosis

Environment: Desert

Geonosis was a desert planet inhabited by the insect like Geonosians. The first major battle of the clone wars, the Battle of Geonosis, was fought here. The Genosians fought alongside the Separatists against the Clones, but had to issue a retreat. Also during the battle, Count Dooku fought Obi-Wan and Anakin. Anakin's arm was chopped off. Yoda interceded and he and Dooku duelled. Dooku escaped when he forced Yoda to stop a pillar from falling on the two other Jedi.
