Gravity Well Projector

Found mostly aboard the Interdictor-class cruisers, these devices simulate the presence of a large body, such as a moon or planet, in space by giving of massive waves of energy. Since starships cannot enter hyperspace when in the presence of such strong gravity, it prevents ships from escaping and knocks ships out of hyperspace, who happen to cross its path, into real space. If the projector is put on too high of a power for too long it will overload causing a gravity vacuum, which is similar to a black hole.
