Whie was a very promising Jedi Padawan during the Clone Wars with the ability to dream of the future. He was never able to develop his talents enough to become a Jedi Knight, because he was murdered during the purge of the Jedi Temple.

He was taken from his parents on Vjun when he was a small child. His father was the last Viscount Malreaux and his mother's name was Whirry.

At the Temple, his Jedi Master was Maks Leem. In one dream he saw himself on Vjun with Scout, who was suffering from a head wound, and Asajj Ventress was goading him to kiss Scout. A few days later, he was assigned on his first mission outside of the Temple to covertly escort Master Yoda to Vjun with his Master Maks Leem, Jai Maruk, and his Padawan Scout.

First they had to get Yoda off of Coruscant without revealing his true destination. They had the actor Palleus Chuff disguise himself as Yoda and leave for Ithor. Then the real Yoda was hidden inside a hollow R2 casing and left with his escorts disguised as a family. This would have been a sound plan, except that Ventress set a trap for Yoda thinking he was headed to Ithor. When she realized it was a decoy, she captured Chuff and made it look like she had killed 'Yoda'. This caused chaos back at the capital and throughout the Republic.

For the first part of their jouney, they traveled to Malastare on the Reasonable Doubt. When Whie and Scout were getting food for the Masters, Solis distracted Scout by leading her to the lost and found saying that they had found something that belonged to her. While this was happening Fidelis approached Whie and revealed that he was Whie's "Gentleman's Personal Gentlething". The droid also said that Whie was the heir to the Malreuax estate and was to rule over Vjun. Whie tried to get the droid to leave him alone, but the droid was persistant. He followed Whie back to the Jedi's living quarters, but during the trip they saw that 'Yoda' had been killed. Scout, being followed by Solis also heard the news report. Both Padawans arrived at their living quarters simultaneously and were so frantic about telling the Masters of the news that they revealed that Yoda was actually with them to the two droids.

Also during this leg of the journey, he developed a crush for Scout. When talking to Maruk about it, the Master said that it was natural during one's adolesence to develop these feelings, but that they would pass in time.

At the Phindar Spaceport, Fidelis talked to Whie in the café while Jai and Maks were purchasing tickets for the next part of the trip. Solis arrived there with Scout and almost immediatly 18 confederate assassin droids, led by Ventress, attacked the station. As the fighting began, an SPCB unit attempted to take the two droids into custody. Solice stole a neural-net eraser from Major Quecks and forced the rest of the officers to scatter.

Whie and Scout agreed to help the Jedi Masters, and to meet down at the edge of the battle. Scout left for the stairs while Whie prepared to jump down, but Fidelis held him back. The two droids wouldn't let Whie engage in the battle. When he saw Scout hit by a blaster bolt on the stairs, he used the Force to pry himself from Fidelis' grip and lept toward her. He took off an arm of one droid while Scout threw it over the banister. He destroyed two more droids, but the last had a choke hold on Scout, and ordered him to put away his weapon. Seeing Fidelis coming and a red dot on the droids forehead, he did so. Fidelis, upset that the droids attempted to harm Whie, destroyed the assassin droid using his arms to rip out the circuitry, revealed his power to Whie. He and Scout raced to help Jai, but half way there Ventress cut him down. She then went over to Leem and thrust her lightsaber into her chest saying, "Eighteen."

Whie was furious and attacked, but Ventress just Force pushed him away saying that they were too pathetic to kill. Ventress then tried to convert him to the dark side, but he resisted. She then blew a hole in the hull and Whie was forced to seal it while she ran off to find a getaway ship. (To read more about this battle, see Battle of Phindar Spaceport).

He, Scout, Yoda, and Fidelis (Solice had left, and they knew it had betrayed them) managed to get a transport to the Jovan Station, an area of junk dealers, to find a ship. They purchased the B-7 Light Freighter,Nighthawk. On the trip to Vjun, Fidelis prepared a feast to celebrate the lives of Jai Maruk and Maks Leem. Whie, confused by what Ventress said to him, became angry. Yoda had to set things straight before they continued. They feasted and Yoda told stories of the two fallen heroes.

Arriving on Vjun, they landed outside Bitter End and decided to go through the caverns hollowed out by the Bay of Tears to reach the Château Malreaux. When they were almost out of the caves, Yoda went on ahead and left Fidelis with Scout and Whie. After a while, they heard Trade Federation battle droids searching the caves, and had Fidelis lead them towards the Château. Little did the Padawans know, that he was leading them into a trap.

Suddenly Scout yelled to hurry up because she felt that the caves were going to collapse. Seconds later a concussion grenade went off (thrown by Anakin Skywalker who had come with Obi-Wan to help Yoda, but unknown to the Padawans), collapsing the caves. As the landscape shifted, a lake suddenly broke through and the force knocked Whie towards a cliff. Fidelis ran to save him while Scout used the force to help Whie hold onto a rock. Fidelis reached him as the water finished draining, and they continued to the Château.

When they entered it, they were in a room with six assassin droids and Asajj Ventress. Ventress struck Scout in the head for not staying still. Then Ventress had Fidelis shoot itself in the head or she would have Whie killed. To protect his master he followed her order. When he did, he became a clump of metal on the floor. Ventress then tried to convert Whie again by using his feelings for Scout against him. Just then, Solis barged in using his Rika/Moab mini rail cannon, angry about not being paid in full for betraying Yoda's location to Ventress. He had figured that it was best to take on Ventress when it was three on one. The battle ended quickly when Ventress shot the neural-net eraser at Solis. Just before he crumbled, he managed to hit Ventress in the leg. The two Padawans ran off while Ventress wrapped a piece of her clothing around the wound.

As he and Scout were wandering down a hallway, another person jumped around a corner and all three of them went into battle stances with lightsabers drawn. Then they realized that the other person was Anakin Skywalker. They joined him, Obi-Wan and Yoda outside the château. Then all the Jedi made their way back to the Temple on Coruscant.

During his trip to Vjun he had a vision that he was going to be cut down by a Jedi. He couldn't see who it was, but he was able to make out the blue lightsaber slicing through him. He was afraid he would become a Sith, but that wasn't the case.

Four months later he was in the Jedi Temple when Palpatine executed Order 66. He saw Anakin Skywalker and went to ask what was happening when Anakin drew his lightsaber and attacked him. When Obi-Wan was looking at the security holograms with Yoda, their duel was the last fighting scene that was shown before Obi-Wan flipped off the images.
