Scout was the nickname of Tallisibeth Enwandung-Esterhazy. She was born into a poor family on the planet Vorzyd V, and was saw by the Jedi scouts to have enough control of the Force for training. However, her skills developed very slowly, and she was often seen as a lost cause. Despite her lack in control of the Force, she made up for it in training and study. At age 13 she became an apprentice to Jedi Master Chankar Kim, who died three months later.

A few years later, after lots of hard work, she became the Padawan learner to Jai Maruk. Her first mission was to covertly escort Master Yoda to Vjun with her Master Jai Maruk, Maks Leem, and her Padawan Whie. While the actor Palleus Chuff desguised himself as Yoda and flew off to the planet Ithor, the real Yoda hid himself in an empty R2 casing.

For the first part of their jouney, they traveled to Malastare on the Reasonable Doubt. When she and Whie were fetching food for everyone, she was distracted by the droid Solis who claimed that she had luggage at the Lost and Found. Little did either of the Padawans know that this was a set-up, so Scout went ahead while Whie managed the food. Fidelis, another droid, approaced Whie and revealed to him that Whie was from the royal family on Vjun and that the droid was to deliver him to his mother.

When arriving at the Lost and Found, it was apparent that the luggage belonged to another traveler. On the way back to her cabin, she and Solis heard the news that "Yoda" was killed. Meeting everyone back at the cabin, she and Whie were hysterical with the news and forgot to keep a low profile, revealing to the two droids that Yoda was actually with them.

At the Phindar Spaceport the two Jedi Masters were purchasing tickets for their next leg of the journey when Solice asked Scout to escort him to his rendevous. Little did she know that it was to get her away from the Jedi Masters for when Asajj Ventress and the 18 Confederate assassin droids attacked. They met Fidelis and Whie at the Café. As the fighting started, an SPCB unit attempted to take the two droids into custody. Solice stole the neural-net eraser from Major Quecks, causing the other officers to scatter.

Meanwhile, Scout attempted to run down the stairs while Whie jumped down from their current location. Half way down, she met up with the four assassin droids and looked to find Whie. He was trapped by Fidelis who wouldn't let him engage in the battle. She retreated, but was hit by a blaster bolt. Whie managed to force himself loose, and lept to her aid. He took off the arm of one droid while Scout threw it over the banister. While Whie was destroying two other droids, the last managed to choke Scout. The droid ordered Whie to put his weapon away, and Whie noticed a red dot on the droids forehead. Fidelis, who had been upset that the droids attempted to hurt Whie, destroyed the droid by plunging his arms into its circuitry, revealing his power to the Padawans.

They went to aid their masters, but were only half way there when Ventress cut down Jai Maruk. Thoughts raced through Scout's mind. All of them were thoughts of how she failed her master because she was not good enough. Ventress then went over to where Maks Leem lay and thrust her lightsaber into her chest saying, "Eighteen." Whie attacked, but Ventress just used the Force to throw him away saying that she didn't want to kill them because they weren't worth it. Ventress then tried to convert Whie to the dark side, but he resisted. Then she blew a hole in the hull and Whie was forced to seal it while she ran off to find a getaway ship. Scout then heard Jai Maruk call her name. He managed to reassure her that it wasn't her fault before he died.

She, Whie, Yoda, and Fidelis (Solice had escaped, and they knew that it had betrayed them) managed to get transport to the Jovan Station, an area of junk dealers, to get a ship. They purchased the B-7 Light Freighter Nighthawk. On the trip to Vjun, Fidelis prepared a feast to celebrate Jai Maruk and Maks Leem. Whie, confused by what Ventress said to him, became angry. Yoda had to set things straight before they continued. They feasted and Yoda told stories of the two fallen heroes.

Arriving on Vjun, they landed outside Bitter End and decided to go through the caverns hollowed out by the Bay of Tears to reach the Château Malruaux where Dooku was. When they were almost out of the tunnels, Yoda ordered Scout to stay and watch Whie and Fidelis while he went on ahead. After a while, they heard Trade Federation battle droids searching the caves, and had Fidelis lead them towards the Château. Little did the Padawans and Fidelis know, that he was leading them into a trap. Whie's mother, Whirry had ordered Fidelis to bring them into a certain room because Dooku had ordered it.

Suddenly Scout yelled to hurry up because she felt that the caves were going to collapse. Seconds later a concussion grenade went off (thrown by Anakin Skywalker who had come with Obi-Wan to help Yoda, but unknown to them), collapsing the caves. As the landscape shifted, a lake suddenly broke through and the force knocked Whie towards a cliff. Fidelis ran to save him while Scout used the force to help Whie hold onto a rock. Fidelis reached him as the water finished draining, and they continued to the Château.

When they entered it, they were in a room with six assassin droids and Asajj Ventress. Ventress struck her in the head for not staying still. Then Ventress had Fidelis shoot himself in the head with a neural-net eraser or she would have Whie killed. When he did, he became a clump of metal on the floor. Ventress then tried to convert Whie again. This time she used his feelings for Scout against him. Just then, Solis barged in with his Rika/Moab mini rail cannon, angry about not being paid in full for the betrayal of the Jedi. He had figured that it was best to take on Ventress when it was three on one. The battle ended quickly when Ventress shot the neural-net eraser at Solis. Just before he crumbled, he managed to hit Ventress in the leg. The two Padawans ran off while Ventress wrapped a piece of her clothing around the wound.

As she and Whie were wandering down a hallway, another person jumped around a corner and all three of them snapped into battle stances with lightsabers drawn. Then they realized that the other person was Anakin Skywalker. They joined him, Obi-Wan and Yoda outside the Château. Then all the Jedi made their way back to the Temple on Coruscant.
