R5-D4

R5-D4 is known as "Red" and one of the last R5 units ever built. It is poor at navigation but skilled at mechanics. It allowed R2-D2 to program its motivator to blow up when R2 communicated to R5-D4 that it was to stay with C-3PO. When its motivator blew up, R2-D2 was purchased by Owen Lars in place of R5-D4. R5-D4 then went back aboard the sandcrawler until the Imperial troops raided it trying to locate R2-D2 and C-3PO. Another group of jawas scavanged the sandcrawler and took R5-D4 and sold it to Voren Na'al. It was reprogrammed and with the help of Momaw Nadon, a spy, it was sold to the local Imperial prefect's assistant administrator. There, R5-D4 recorded everything until it was collected by Nadon.
