Obi-Wan was headed back to Coruscant with Anakin Skywalker when Mace Windu contacted him, ordering that they help Yoda on Vjun. When Anakin slipped by saying that he had made a promise to be back in Coruscant three weeks ago, Obi-Wan covered for him by saying that it was to show some tricks to the students in Iron Hand's class.

When they arrived on Vjun, they landed their Hoersch-Kessel Chyrra-class Modified Courier just outside Bitter End, about a hundred yards from what they thought to be the starship that Yoda's was using. After scouting out the area with electrobinoculars, Anakin threw a concussion grenade into the mouth of the cave before Obi-Wan could object. Almost immediately, the whole hillside began to collapse.

Entering the Château Malreaux, they met Asajj Ventress, who was chasing after the Padawans Scout and Whie. When she saw them, she turned and fled before a battle could occur.

A few mintues later, Yoda came down and met Obi-Wan and Anakin. As Obi-Wan and Yoda were talking, Anakin lept into a nearby hallway, only to meet Whie and Scout. The three of them stood in battle stances with lightsabers drawn thinking that the other was an enemy. Then all five of them went outside in time to see Ventress stealing Obi-Wan and Anakin's courier.

After some more discussions the Jedi made their way back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
