She was heading for Sevarcos on her first diplomatic mission when her starship was shot down by Asajj Ventress. Her lightsaber was modified by Count Dooku and sent back to Yoda. It carried a message for Yoda to meet Dooku on Vjun to discuss a possible ending to the Clone Wars. Dooku knew that Yoda would recognize it as a trap, but he relied on Yoda not turning his back on a past student. Only Jedi could accompany him, and this offer was not to be taken as a military advantage or any hope of peace would be destroyed.
