Once again I would like to ask posters to please include references with your articles. Even if you are not quoting, you are using information from other sources (even if it's only the movies), and by not including those sources you are Plagiarizing. Plagiarism is illegal and not tolerated on this site.

A new policies page has been created concerning the topic of acceptable references and apocryphal material (e.g. game modifications, fan art, etc.). Please read this page before posting content to assure that your hard work is not in violation of the acceptable guidelines for sources and references.

I have decided to include a new section within each article. A section for trivia can be included after the main entry, but before the References section. Simply make the title of "Trivia:" bold and then use the bullets (*) to indicate the beginning of each new item. Items that are appropriate for this section are trivia dealing with the actor (Star Wars related), the character, and observations that don't easily fit into the main section.

I added the ability to upload pictures. Please see the Editing Help for information on how to link them into your documents.
I would like to point out one thing, however. Since we have had some issues in the past with plagerism, I am implementing a zero tolerance policy for people who plagerise pictures or photgraphs. If you do not get permission from the creator of the image to post it here, do not post it. Anyone who chooses not to comply with this policy, unless you get special permission from an admin, will be banned - no questions asked.

As more people start to write articles in the Encyclopedia I would like to point out some things that would make my job easier. If you could follow the basic rules of typing and writing, check your spelling, and use APA format for your references it would be most appreciated. If you don't understand the coding for internal links etc. that is fine. Please don't let that stop you from posting, since we want everyone to participate. Finally, and most importantly, I remind everyone NOT TO PLAGIARIZE. This isn't pointing a finger at any one person, but meant just a casual reminder.

Modified the Wiki encyclopedia so that you need to be logged in to modify pages. Please remember that your encyclopedia login/password is different from your main site login/password. You need to register twice!

I moved the "Battles" page to "Battles and Wars," so that major wars can also be listed in the same context. This allows wars in which there is very little known about specific battles, such as the Great Hyperspace War, to be listed as well.

I also made an executive decision that titles, such as 'Darth' will precede names in the characters index. (It doesn't make sense to have Vader, Darth, since 'Darth' is merely a title).

Please make sure to follow consistent headers/category references when creating pages. If you have any questions about these standards, please look at the Characters Main Page and follow the layout of the page there. Also, please cite references that you use at the end of each article. An example of how to cite references can be found on the profile of Exar Kun.

As of right now, we have seperated the site into two parts, the wiki encyclopedia, and the main portal. Hopefully soon we will be able to integrate the wiki encyclopedia into the main site. You are free to edit and add information about the Star Wars Mythology as you have time.

Please note that your wiki login and password is seperate from your main portal login and password.

We intend to change this, and coalesce the two databases as soon as possible, but for now, please sign up for another account with the wiki site.
